Tina Champagne is well-known for her workshops, specifically designed for the adult learner, combining a host of sensory-related tools, equipment, interactive lab sessions, and clinical applications targeting current clinical practice concerns, case examples and implementation issues.
In addition to her annual workshops, any combination of on-site workshops and/or consultation services may be created to meet the specific needs of each organization. 3-hour, half-day, full-day and multiple-day workshops may be arranged. Tina Champagne has worked with a large variety of mental health organizations at all levels of care and across age ranges (child, adolescent, adult, and older persons). Some of the most commonly requested workshops include the following topic areas or combinations:
- Sensory Modulation, Emotion Regulation & Restraint Reduction
- Environmental Enhancement & Sensory Room Development
- Sensory Modulation Modalities & the Mind-Body Connection
- Integrating the Safe Use of Weight and Pressure Modalities in Mental Health Practice
- An Introduction to the Sensory Modulation Program

On-Site Consultation
As an expert in the area of applying sensory modulation to mental health services, Tina Champagne offers staff educational trainings and consultation to administrative, occupational therapy and inter-disciplinary staff. Whether assistance is needed in one specific area (e.g., developing a sensory room or weighted/pressure modalities) or in a host of areas (e.g., program development, application of sensory modulation assessment procedures) the “just right” package will be created collaboratively to suit your needs.
Video Conferencing
For some, video conferencing is a preferred alternative. The host site is responsible for supplying basic equipment and for copying and distributing the handout package. The handout package comes complete with the presentation outline, power point slides and a host of tools and handouts for use with a variety of consumer populations.
